Money is not the tool of the moochers, who claim your product by tears, or of the looters, who take it from you by force. Money is made possible only by the men who produce.

Lola H asked:

Let’s start off with me saying I don’t believe in everything Ayn Rand says. But I have been thinking about something for a while. She says that in every generation there are a few truely brilliant people who will be great.(Howard Roark) The majority fall in to two other categories..People who realize and appreciate greatness, but accept they will never attain it.(Peter Keating) and those who realize neither, and don’t realize they will never achieve greatness. (Ellsworth Toohey).

My question is, do you think at some point a person must decide whether they will achieve greatness, or accept they are not capable of it?
By greatness I mean truely achieving something extradornary due to your hard work.
Like: great writers, J.R.R. Tolkien, took him 50 years to write the Lord of the Rings and was constantly revising it, and see now what has become of it. Or Ghandi who was commited to his morals and ideals.
Yaoi Shonen-ai, you are correct about Toohey, please excuse my mistake!

Powered By Yahoo Answers
